Here's an update . Several weeks ago I was at a local car show , one of the last of the season. I met Neil Smith. He was the second owner-driver of the Jackshaw car. He was sorry that he didn't hear about the Dragway 42 event. He certainly would have attended. I asked what was the best E.T. the car ever turned. He said 11.80s. with the help of A LOT of money. Turns out, he lives about 5 miles from me. We both know a lot of the same people, strange that we never met. He's still a car guy but now drives a 2018 Corvette ZO-6.
