Metal project: Drill press stand / use for old brake drums

I slapped together a nice stand for a small drill press that I wasn't using. (was in my wood working shop that I never visit anymore)

You'll notice I put some old brake drums to good use. They work great as bases for things like this. I added one to my band saw outfeed stand and now it's rock solid!

Nice press. I made one similar to that back in the mid 80's.

I have mine setting on my side cabinet that hangs on large snap on bottom box. Usually I get by with small things to drill,and those that I don't I just put the press on roll around work bench. It takes up less floor space that way . I like floor space!!!!!!

All I have is the floor left! Horizontal surfaces always get loaded up with stuff.
