Thanks everyone for their concerns. He was dressed in his Super Shifters T-shirt today. Crappy weather but a huge crowd. I heard today all good old racers are sent off in a fancy shirt like that. I spoke with a new member here on PM that was a teacher of Mike's son Chris in high school...small world. Took this pic of the work of Mike and his wife Carolyn have done for Make A Wish.

Mike and I ran down the track a couple times. Once 4 years ago attached at Cedar Falls and once at Eddyville. He could run those times all day long. RIP Mike ...see you at the Big End.

Another story I heard. Someone at a swap meet wanted to sell Mike a couple new tach's. Mike said he couldn't use them, they didn't have enough numbers....... Always a small block guy he went with high rpms and didn't use a 2 step.
