Thought I'd share my latest toy. 
This is a touch DRO. Yes, I had to buy a tablet (this is the guy that just got a cell phone not long ago) but it was only $45 and has many other uses so a good investment.
This uses my existing scales that plug into an electrical contraption shown that sends the signals out using wireless blue tooth. An app on the tablet reads and displays it. This features some nice things my old set up did not have like bolt circles, finding centers, tool library, etc.
If you currently have no DRO equipment, this probably isn't the best / cost efficient method but if you have the chinese scales and want something more, this does the job!
I still have to build a better case/box for the electronic board and mount it to the wall.
