Guess I'm getting she's getting a better brain box. After all, she'll call me if she breaks down. Might as well pay for sanity.

@Don Jacks I could use a little more help with double checking parts.

Which of these three makes sense?
1 - I think this will do the job, once I get the wiring harness number:

I'm not sure the difference other than the price with this one:

3 - I'm assuming this is overkill for my needs:

I'm worried that a 24x trigger wheel will be needed or does the engine already have that?

None of them,use pn 550-936 plus they have a pigtail that will allow you to use the engines small cap HEI.The ones that you looked up were all LS.

The ''pigtail'' that you'll need is pn 558-304. This system is self learning,but can also be manually tuned via laptop.If you were going late automatic,they make one that has the trans control built in as well.
