Motor Weight

Anyone have an idea what a complete 409 motor weighs? My guess is in the 500-550 lb. range. Secondly, how about shipping preferences..freight truck?

In the show cars catalog,the approx weight is 650lbs.The only way to ship an engine is by freight truck and it has to be attached to a pallot.

I ship quite a few engines and blocks with ABF.com. Pick the infrequent discount option. Most areas have a terminal nearby.
