James stopped by last night and we installed a fresh 409 build in the '62 Biscayne on 4-0-9 Day

James put this one together from some parts I had acquired over time. Note the T shirt. The short block came from Tulsa, it's a truck block with a stock crank and rods with KB-Ikon pistons. Heads are freshened up 583s I had on the SS car for a 12,000 miles. Cam is also from that SS car's previous build.
We basically set the engine in place with a mocked up bell housing and T-10 just to get some weight on the front end so I can disassemble that next. Lots to do to get this one ready, but it's coming apart OK.

Tom, this engine has stock stroke with H beam big block rods.
