Russ, that set up looks great. I run a similar one on my 348 and used some of the same vendor's products. What jets are you running? Sorry, I missed your original post, been busy lately with all the projects. Walt

Not sure what jets the carbs are running. All three carbs are the Rochester 2GC. The papers that come with it states they are Fully Blue Printed-Jetted & Tuned to my specific application. The end carbs have NO idel circuits or adjustments. Everything runs and idles through the center, main carb only.
All internal Parts are NEW- Precision-Flow needle, Jets, floats, etc.:cheers
Know I never answered your question, but thats all I know.

I suspect that if Larry at Automotion set these up that they may have a 58 in the center and 60's in the sec. Seems that I saw a thread on here ( may be from Ray) that 61's are a better choice. You will know after she runs a bit and you can check for the richness of the fuel mix. Something to look at later, I guess. Ray has had a lot more experience with this set up from what I can see, so maybe he will chime in if he can get away from his Clay City project for a moment. Getting a free meal from Fred may take a little higher priority at the moment though. :roll :roll :brow

61s are what I run, better choice :dunno . What really made a big difference was when I drilled out the accelerator pump shooters!

Are you saying that the Rochester 2GC carb's were that different EACH year from
1958-61.:dunno

I think what he`s saying is that the 61 jets are a better choice then the 58 or 60 jets,,not the years,,dq

The jetting was different through the years and differed from stick to auto tranny. When you modify the engine comp ratio , cam etc you would change jetting requirements somewhat but not as much as you think. The way you use the engine is where we get into the jet changes. With all due respect to Larry Fulton, if the carbs perform as they should with no bogg out of the hole you will be a lucky dog.
