First off I would like to thank everyone who provides the wealth of information that is posted here. I bought a torn down 409 a year ago, had to have it bored 60 over to clean up the holes, and then started putting it together by searching through all the past threads here for guidance. The engine is together now, with the exception of linkage, and is in a new T-bucket. I have another of these with a 327 in it, and it weighs exactly 2000 lbs., so I am hoping that the same car with a 409, even mildly built, will move scoot fairly well. I have some new questions that I wasn't able to answer by searching the archives, but I'll go over to the 409 forum to post those.
For the moment here are a few pics of what I have so far.

Jeff

cool car:), I have a 409 in a '31 ford 5 window coupe, among other 409's. Hot rod always draws a crowd at cruises and car shows. It goes like hell when I step on it, can be very scary

nothing like a 409 in an old hot rod. My 30 highboy never fails to draw a crowd, sounds and runs great and runs circles around my blown 350 in a 1929 sedan. My bet is you will yank the small block our of your other roadster soon. Nice ride. Best of luck.

She´s real fine, my ,...

Step, You have nice engine and car. Real bad concept. There is good torque/weight percentage!
