new virus, very ominous.

I thought you would want to know about this e-mail virus. Even the most advanced programs from Norton or McAfee cannot take care of this one. It appears to affect those who were born prior to 1950.

Symptoms:

1. Causes you to send the same e-mail twice.

2. Causes you to send a blank e-mail.

3. Causes you to send e-mail to the wrong person.

4. Causes you to send it back to the person who sent it to you.

5. Causes you to forget to attach the attachment.

6. Causes you to hit "SEND" before you've finished.

7. Causes you to hit "DELETE" instead of "SEND."

8. Causes you to hit "SEND" when you should "DELETE."

IT IS CALLED

THE "C-NILE VIRUS".

almost that same thing infected my mom's computer, her's kept pressing, control-alt(zheimers)-delete. nothing could fix except a roll of stamps and envelopes. hope you have better luck.

Fred, I can assure you... you DO NOT have to have been born prior to 1950 in order to be afflicted with that virus.
I've done them... EVERY ONE OF THEM :eek:

Geez, I had food in my mouth when I read the "Causes you to forget to attach the attachment" symptom... The operative word being, "HAD" food in my mouth

I'm great for doing that too. Right after I type, "pics attached" in my letter, I hit send and start cursing because I didn't attach them! Ever notice you remember this at the split second you press the send button?

I will soon turn 56 and have had this problem long before I hit fifty, I think.

They claim the mind is the second thing to go, and I can't for the life of me remember the first thing.

Around here we call it CRS, can't remember s**t.

But then again there are some things that are worth forgetting.
