Little more done today. Aluminum fenders, grill brackets and hood mounted. .....HOWEVER..........can't close hood all the way. ..Hood brace hits the air cleaner!!!!!...............409Envy (Evan) thinks maybe the prothane motor mounts may ride higher than the stock mounts. Looks like I'll be changing the mounts..
. I can actually close the hood and latch it.......but it bows ever so slightly..........sure as hell don't want to bow the hood!

The prothane mounts are a little taller. Used them to get clearance for the Stefs oil pan.
Shim the back of the hood! Old school style.
Was not going to post any images till we got a little closer. X'ed flags and small lettering will be done this week. Hood / air cleaner clearance resolved. Need to get side windows in and bolt in interior. Side windows are NOT something I can do and not many folks want to / can't do it. So much more to do. BSL409 needs to come put my windows in!

Nice, I'm jealous. 
The car is soooo sweet. Man I love em when their fresh. I finished the 60 Impala in 1992. Couldn't keep my eyes off it. I'd get up to pee at 3:00 AM and flip the garage light on. I think Marcia was jealous lol.
