Earl Bancroft, thanks for letting me in. In the process of buying a 58, 348 4bbl auto trans ( pwr glide?). Been sitting many years but looks full of potential. Here to learn about these cars. First question, what size is the crank shaft front pulley bolt? so when I go back I can bring the right socket to see if the engine turns.

I believe the early motors did not have a center bolt on the crank. Balancer was held on with a press fit.
