Not 63 Dreamin' Anymore

A 63 very is the first decent car I ever had. Bought it from my barber. Tore out the tranny the third day I owned it. Wouldn't have happened if it had a Saginaw I guess. My favorite year is 62.....never had one though.
Ate you about done with the other project for your buddy?? If so you can start photos on the 63 .

James had a sweet '63 Impala two decades ago that he let go (and probably wishes he had back!) and I suspect this is a fulfillment of that dream to have another one

Looks like it has a good frame.
Don 63 is my dream year for the X frame cars.
There are a few projects in front of this car, but the price was right and maybe the third time will be a charm.

Hey James do you have a assembly manual for your 63 yet? If you don't and you want one I have one I'm not using , my plan to buy a 63 fell through several yrs. ago and I can't see me buying one now so send me your address and I'' send it to you.

I'm with you Russ I'd like to find a 63 in Ohio in that condition I'd be driving it and if you did find one they would be asking $2 or $3K for it.

You are not too old. You couldn't go wrong with Dick's car. It is a far better car than most realize...safe and runs straight
Too many wore out parts Russ. I should have taken better care of myself when I was younger. I can't believe someone hasn't latched onto Dick's car already. If I recall correctly did Dick buy the car from you? I've got some plans for the Crusher this winter that will keep me happy. I've got a grudge match I lost a couple of years ago to get even on.

FYI the grudge guy goes Heehe a lot. It took the heart right out if his W to beat me though.
