OLD DECALS

I saw that 1964 Nationals decal in the corner of the windshield of a 55 Chevy gasser my friend pulled out of a barn last weekend where it had been sitting for nearly 50 years.
Car was a junior stocker early on before becoming a tunnel rammed small block gasser. Early Olds/Pontiac 9.3 rear.

If I remember correctly, I had some of the decals pictured by Russ on my '63 back in the day. I only placed decals on quarter windows. Pretty sure I had at least these decals on car at one time or another:
NHRA
'63 and '64 US Nationals (I lived in Indiana)
Hurst
Sunoco
Hoosier Racing Tire
Honest Charlie's
Cragar
Sun

My mom and dad hated seeing them on the car!

Decals on the window were better than today's facial tattoos!!!

........have started a new trend of 'tacky' used car decals.......:rub.....and have gotten some positive response as it makes the car a little bit more nostalgic......:good......here is a 'GORRIES' sticker I reproduce from a Chev dealership in Toronto in the 60's arguably the hottest dealer ship in Canada at the time with road racers, drag racers and circle track.......:clap........even put one on my wife's Equinox......
.........here's the original after 55 years
