This must be why I have an interest in Ford trucks. A 1942 that was bought military surplus about 1950. I remember one flathead being swapped out for a Montgomery Wards rebuilt Mercury flathead. In 1966 a 223 ohv 6 got swapped in. It runs really strong. Found out it had been built to run at the local stock car track by a prior owner.20200506_130215.jpg

41 Ford. I was looking for 1920s J.I.CASE tractor parts in central Nebraska. This was parts storage out in his trees. Been there since 1955. If I ever get to it thinking dropped front axle and stay with a flathead. I have the 47 merc engine out of the 42 truck but I have some later heads and intake and engines also. I do have the front steel to. I should look for an old phone book from the area it came from and try to figure out what the lettering says.20200511_125406.jpg20200511_125320.jpg20200511_124845.jpg20200511_125858.jpg

If you can't get to it..... I could relieve you of the burden.
