I'm Cecil Thomas Loter. "Cecil" was the official first name for the military but I'm just Tom to my family. I am originally from south Texas but now live in Arizona. I am retired after wrenching and flying for the Coast Guard/Navy for 23+ years and another 17 with a couple of airlines. My first "W" engine was in my 58 2dr Delray which I got my senior year in HS (1961). I converted it to 280 hp with a 3/2 setup I bought from a friend for $30. I loved that car and have always been partial to the 348 and 409s. I can't fly anymore so it looks like I'll be spending more time on my many project cars. I'm not a frequent contributor as I am somewhat humbled by the expertise found here but I do enjoy the technical discussions. I always learn something.
