One piece main seal adapter

Anyone used a the one piece main block adapter to use an older two piece main crank in a block. Do they leak? I have a 97 SB block for HR cam spider and a crank and nice aluminum flywheel from an older 2 piece main block.

Remember that the one piece rear main seal engines were external balance on the flywheel or flex plate side. But a few engine builders have mentioned that the one piece blocks seal better. It might not be worth using a 2 piece crank in the one piece block. Stroker crank prices aren't too much different between them.

I know but I have a really nice SFI flywheel for a 2 piece-that actually was on my 409 in the 70s then my 79 Camaro!
