Most, when swaping engines don't know the shroud is different and they are very difficult to locate also
You sir have made my day! Thank you for pointing me in the right direction, just ordered the fan shroud. Also, thank you for the kind words!
I have a couple of the 348 and 409 shrouds and some of the other members have the originals too if you decide you need to switch just ask.
We are more like "let your guard down and you will regret it friendly Zoo".
We do allot of jabbing back and forth 
until we actually talk parts and how they work, then we get all serious and committed to saving the world 
.So what would be correct for a non SS 409? I've been able to decode everything on my cowl tag except an 11 (or maybe II) code under the accessory section. Not sure this is related or not. Car was built in LA plant if that helps.

Most of us don't advertise everything we have otherwise this sight would look more like EBAY. We just wait for some guy to ask for something then someone chimes in with what they have available or where they know you can find what you need. I just checked again and have a 58' 348 five blade fan and shrowd and I have what I think is a 59 shroud too for sparesThank you! That would be awesome!
