Hey guys. Here’s a pic of my other rides. 39 International D2 1/2 ton and 64.5 K code Coupe Mustang. Both original and fully restored.
Thanks
Bartman

Oh thanks. It was my Grandpa’s- he was second owner and bought it in the 40’s. I restored it about 9 years ago. It’s a blast to drive, at 40 mph max speed. As for the Mustang, I was never a Ford guy but it was too good of a deal to pass up as an original Hipo. Both have been featured in Calendars. Every Labour day weekend I drive them both, with my Harley-sort of a redneck trifecta, lol.
I like rare stuff. That’s what drew me to the K code and the 63 Impala SS 409. The truck is rare too but very sentimental. My dad (near 80) remembers riding in that truck with his Parents and 7 siblings in the back.
I’m curious putting it head to head with my Impala 409 to see which one is faster! Thoughts? 289 Hipo 4 speed with 3.89 gears against the dual quad 409 Auto with 3.36?

K code is a great car. Very rare if number matching/correct. While the Mustang definitely has the weight ratio on it's side but I think it's just giving up to many cubes

Yes its all original, VIN stamped block, trans and numbers Matching rear end. I agree, it’s a screamer. We used to call them Corvette killers because they were so unsuspecting with that high winding Hipo, low gears and top loader at about 2,500 lbs. it’s going to be fun trying which one is quicker...
