Wife leaves for North Carolina tomorrow morning for her parents 50th anniversary so I took the week off to get this motor swap done. Coming out is a stock 814 block code qg that runs good and I have had since 2004 but I want to play with this 63 a little so in goes the QB 814 .040 Ross piston , Z11 isky cammed, 690 headed and 929 open pleneum manifold with Wilson headers. Car already has the T10 in it. If I get ambitious enough the 308 i believe rear will come out and my 513 p cased center will go in .

Dropped wife off at the airport and got some work done today

Those weeks off work to do nothing but work on cars are the best. Ultimate therapy. Gotta post some videos when you get that thing running with the 5.13 chunk!

I got this thing up and going and got the 513 posi put in and this thing is a hoot to drive ,stop light to stop light as this revs up quik! Need to do some fine tune of the carb but with the z11 cam and Wilson headers with a set of flowmasters and that's it this thing is obnoxiously loud so much so I set off 2 car alarms taking it around the block yesterday so I hurried up and parked it in the garage before the angry neighbors came knocking!!!! I will get the wife to do a ride along video next weekend and post it.

Man if something like that can happen every time you ship her away....... she’d have to go way more often......... congratulations...... and I am joking..... I know everything in moderation........ you’re a better person when you’re in a good relationship ......... if that’s the case........ congratulations again ......

Oh ya that's the case as we are going on 11 years together and she puts up with all my craziness with the cars and enjoys them also and she just joined this group yesterday to see what's going on in here and to make sure she's not married to the only 409 nut out there! Or she could be stalking me but I doubt that

Around 12k I guess ha ha this car won't see the traps until I switch to a 456 or a 411
