Im trying to find the right location to mount the outer drivers door mirror....does anyone know a source with a drawing, template..or does anyone have dimensions off there own car?

Randy, shouldn't make any difference. You are still sitting in the same place in reference to the mirror. The front fenders are the same, so dimensions from the front edge of the door should be the same. Make a mark, set the mirror there, and sit in the car. That should tell you.

The last piece
The last piece I put on my '62 (yesterday) was the driver's side mirror, which to me symbolized "completion". The part was a "GM restoration" part from Phil Reed, and it came with a template. I will check that to confirm, but Gearhead is always right when he measures things

Tom, Measure if you must, but beware of posting a different measurment. We all must fear " gearheads big hammer!!!".
