Thanks for info on pitman arm. I have installed the steering components and all is fine. However, the stock 59 ElCamino sway bar is blocked by the 605 box from being bolted up to frame rails. Did you have this problem? Am I doing something wrong? Thanks, Ed

No front stabilizer
My 62 has no front stabilizer bar. I do have one I was going to install, but now that you mention the fit problem, I guess not. I have also been told a front bar and mounting from a Chevelle, Monte, GP, Regal and the likes of the same years as the 605 box will fit the 59-64 full size cars with minor fitting. I do more parking than driving these day and the steering is more important to me. Car seems to handle ok without the bar.
