I agree with throwing her ass in jail. She doesn't have to answer their questions, but she should keep her mouth shut and not be rude. However, the cops in typical fashion couldn't just deal with the stupid idiot. They then started in on the passenger because that's what they do. If he hasn't committed a crime he doesn't have to identify himself that I know of. And traffic violations are infractions, not crimes. So in my opinion, the cops fabricated a reason to identify him. They actually broke the law. While I don't know why he would take it off at the stop, they did not know for a fact he didn't have his belt on. Seen this a million times. Cops pull a driver over and start harassing anyone in the car whether they have done something or not. Guilt by association or presence.
