Cooked cat meat? True story.

My step-father had a funny story from his youth in Holland, during W.W. II

Toward the end the war was not going well for the Germans, even the U-Boat's were having a hard time getting sufficient rations.

A U-Boat came into their village to stock up before returning to sea.
The local kids traded them some dressed "Rabbit", not expecting to ever see the same crew again.

A few weeks later the boat returned, and the kids again tried to sell the Germans dressed "Rabbit" from the local ally's.
They declined emphatically, they wanted NOTHING to do with any more of that stinking blue "rabbit" meat!
