Pics of 63 Chevy optional "chrome wheel" package

Does anyone have any pics of 63 Chevys with the actual chrome wheels that were offered as an option in I believe 1963 only?
Are there production records of how many people picked this option? I saw somewhere an old pic of a Bill Burges green 63 Z11 with them on it?

My ‘63 was purchased with the factory chrome rims. ‘Never saw a car with hubcaps installed on the chrome rims ... would certainly harm the chrome.

We installed chromed “spider” plates and lug nuts to cover axle ends.

After a few years of salted winter roads in Northern Indiana, rust won out.

I think Dick Harrell had them.

Don't know if Larry Wilson got the car that way but Hank had them on the restored car.

My favorite Wheel. Of course mine were just aftermarkets, but closely resembled the factory style.

We would only run ours in the nice weather. Once cold weather hit, we went back to painted wheels with Dog dish caps, until Spring again.

Those painted wheels would be Deep Dish Wagon wheels, if we could find them.

You're right Ray. I didn't wreck that one too bad. Some bitch ran a red light and hit me in the left rear quarter though. Friggin cops acted like it was my fault. Nice car 327, 3 on the tree. Traded it for the 68 Nova I couldn't afford.

What years did you own the vert?

Seems like early 67 to June 68. Like they say, I should have kept it, but Nova's were the rage around town. Herd mentality.

Belive me I know how that works, some I let get away in that time period, 1962 Dodge Polara 500, 361 bigblock, 1956 Dodge Polara 500, 315 Hemi, and a couple of 57 Chevy's. Others but not as notable were 1962 Pontiac Catalina convertible and a 1966 Austin Healey 3000 mark III. Well poop.
