Pont pig in Chevy housing?

Today a guy at Autozone tells me his 63 Impala has the 57 Pontiac pig bolted into the Chevrolet housing with custom made axles.


Sound right?

Here's a curly one guy's. As Don has stated above.

In OZ, all our imported Chevs and Pontiacs from the late 50's through late 60's were on Chev chassis and drive trains, including the third member, Commonwealth export from Canada. :poke

Only issue is we don't have the Autozone chain down our way. :nevermind

He brought it to work on sunday. All Pontiac with the Chevy arms welded on. He seemed surprised to hear that. I told him it was a good thing.

That's an understatement! He really lucked out compared to it just being another chevy 8.2 out of a Canadian Pontiac.

Wow. Lucky guy. I'd love to have that for my car. I bought a complete 57 Pontiac rear axle assembly a couple years ago. Still have to set it all up.

Yea he is a lucky guy i destroyed many of the old factory gears back in the day mostly because of stupidity but they are weak.
