This absolutely gorgeous `62 is owned by Bob Johnson of Oregon City just down the road,,,,,
The detail just doesn`t come out in the photos !!!

This is a stroked 409 with Eagle rods,crank (same throw as a 454) made for 409`s and Ross pistons with stock modified carbs !! He got a lot of advice from Curt Harvey on the engine.
YEH,,,Bob knows that the air cleaner SUCKS !! and is trying to come up with one that looks better.It`s an old Dorf dual quad cleaner that he just loves to hear the whining from the Dorf guys !!
Shaved handles,custom headers (some of the best I`ve seen) and those brake lines !!! WOW !!!
I let Bob know about our space out here in cyber space but he`s not on line yet. I will stay in contact with him and push a little to get him to join in with all us NUTS !!
