Hi everyone. I have a sbc in my '62 which I will be replacing soon with a 409. My car has power steering which I want to continue to have. In an effort to line up parts ahead of time, would anyone know if I can use the same bracket on the sb on the 409 or do I have to buy new?? Thank you, Carmine.

See this post with pictures. 409 power steering pumps that mount on a 409 block (2 brackets ) only fit 409's. Small block brackets for the pump will not
work on a 409. Many of the other parts will work. All the pulleys on a 409 with and without Power Steering were originally deep groove and 409 only.

If you want the list I made of Power steering parts including the 409 only parts (see the pictures on the link above)that I sent to Jeff Olson I can forward it to you.
