Progress on my 61

Got it outside, first time in about a year and a half.










Adapted Cadilac air cleaner to dual carbs.


Interior almost done. Putting a few miles on it while I'm waiting for my guy to finish it.

It really looks nice! That air cleaner looks a lot like the one I had on my 53 Olds. Looks good on that 409.

I hate to admit it but the buckets and console are out of a 65 ford galaxie.
I couldn't find any chevy seats, so I thought they would look good.

Well they look very nice to me. Most buckets I've seen swapped in (besides the 62-65 style) look completely out of place in these cars. Yours fit the rest of the car very well.

Great car!! And the seats look fine; to be honest, most of the Fords I have ridden in, even today, have pretty comfortable seats.
