PS Pump Bracket..sort of

Last Saturday while fitting, grinding then mounting the power steering pump bracket onto the 348 I started getting a stomach ache so called it a day, took a shower, ate lunch then laid down. Pain got worst as the day went on and couldn't take much more so at 5 am the wife drove me to ER. They took blood, urine, Covid tests and took a scan of my abdomen. Finally at 10 am the ER Doc tells me I have appendicitis and scheduled an operation. At 6:30pm they rolled me into OR, more blood and urine tests then I was out until 8pm.,,all done.
ER and OR staff were outstanding considering they wouldn't let me drink water and me laying on a gurney in the hallway all that time until the operation.

I was advised not to do anything strenuous so I'll do the easy one twice and let the wife do the rest. LOL

Those operations are now pretty fast and not much incision area. Friend just had one a overnight dismissal. My son had that done also. Just have to take it easy for awhile.

Glad you came out all right. It was probably your wife who MADE you go to ER.

Yup, the wife first insisted an hour after experiencing the pain but me being hard headed thought the pain would wear off...NOT.
Got a good night sleep and have a little discomfort but no pain this morning.

Not that toughing out an impending fatal appendicitis attack is in anyway stupid

Had it happen 5-6 years ago…. they can perform the surgery laparoscopically as long as the appendix hasn’t burst, but they need a larger incision if it did….. glad to hear everything worked out……..
