Frost & shorts...not camo? What brand of quail and how did the hunt go? Was this on the south island Steve? The frost looks cool....
Yes bird dogs. Just not in pics sort. GSPs American bulldog. And my two jack Russell terriors.
Always wear high vis camo here when we rabbit or quail hunt so we can see each other in scrub.
Birds are Californian quail.
Shorts is my nephew Cory. He is double hard.

Temp is minus 7 degrees Celsius.

I like the way you spell terrior. The didn't seem mean to me. Maybe I didn't taste good.
Frozen fingers on spelling and frozen brain as well
Got down to minus 11 degrees and a high of minus 4.
Was very foggy which made the seeing of the dogs a bit hard so we called it yesterday. I drove home last night and got in about 9pm
Knackered, had a shower and went to bed
Got 11 quail, possum, heaps of rabbits (virus isnt working that well, but that is another story)
When i arrived at the farm house thursday afternoon, clothes pegs on line
Same pegs 24 hours later
Awesome pics Steve. Must be really damp there this time of year. Your -11 C is 12* F Forgot the name of that JRT, but he is overlooking his domain.............on a different day. That frost breaks lots of tree limbs.. Thanks for the report and pics.
