Question about 409 intake 400hp

Hi, can someone tell me if its OK to put a 1965 409 intake 400hp on 1965 409
with 333 head can that cause problem or it can work ok thanks .

The short answer is yes, it will fit. But the ports on the manifold will be taller than the ports on the heads so they won't line up quite right. Find C.H.Enterprizes in the links section of this site. then go to frequently asked questions. He's explained what to do.

My question is can you port the #333s enough to make an acceptable transition or what can be done to the intake to lower the port. Is Aluminum weld and machining the only option for this NUT
