Really wish I could have been around for the early days. If I had the resources, I would build a nostalgia car. Maybe something to run the deal Quain Stott started.

Do you guys have any attraction to the show that is an NHRA event? Even in the 80's and early 90's I had zero interest in the very class my dad I ran (super classes). I would run to the fence to watch Comp and alcohol funnycar. Hell, even Pro Stock has gotten a little boring and they still have a clutch...

Funny cars are still amazing but NHRA will soon start power limiting steps to further keep speeds down. Perhaps they should start looking to the past and designing the body less toward aerodynamics and toward cars that LOOK like the old Funny Cars. Who wouldnt want to see a 1969 Mach 1 Mustang FC or 1972 Vega Wagon?
