Use And Aftermarket

Auburn, Strange and Eaton now make posi units for the 58-64 fullsize Chevy. Somewhere around $400-$500. ALL MUCH stronger than the orig GM unit. Moser makes axles for around $300. Show Cars has bearing cap supports for $150.

The Eaton unit is repotedly the better of the aftermarket parts.
However, Models... you are in error.... the aftermarket is no where NEAR the unit of the factory "4 spider" power Lok... not even close.
Also, no possibility of the 30 spline axle upgrade.

As for Show Cars bearing cap support...
They've attempted to copy a few of my designs/products ( DESPERATELY trying to get Ross Pistons to supply them with my proprietary design )...
In this particular instance, they fall short again.
For an extra few dollars, you can get a part that's made by a career tool and die maker, that has been proven OVER and OVER again.

Perhaps Show Cars can chime in and offer the technical information and advice ?

sorry...
