Never knew that there was a tool, so I just gave it a rap with my lead hammer, and they came out without damaging the threads. Sometimes ignorance of the correct method works best, because you aren't worried about screwing up.

View attachment 66685Next time give this stuff a try I’m a huge fan! To me it works better then liquid wrench or wd40 I believe. That’s just my opinion.

I have had better luck with Seafoam Deep Creep than any other penetrant that I have tried. It is expensive, about $8 - 12, depending on where you buy it, but it works when nothing else does.
