Restoring old 348-409 valve covers

I got an easy one:D how or what type of material do you use to smooth out the small dents on these old valve covers to make them look new again and last against the heat:dunno will bondo work
or is there a special resin, or is there someone that has a special technique that i could send them to and get them restored:rub

I have used fiberglass on the w valve covers many times with no problems

I never use any type of filler on valve covers. I work the dents out and work the metal until its absolutely smooth. On some vale covers the area to be repaired will determine whether or not they can be made nice. You cant repair any of them very well if they are smashed to start with. So pick the nicest ones you can to work with.

Thanks guys how about the oil drippers are they the ones i need, and do the new aluminum ones from show cars work o.k they are real expensive.:dunno
just wondering how they would look beside Aubreys sp7000:dance
