Hi from Sweden ! I am in a little wonder , how much CFM have an Rochester 4GC ?
something like 600- 750 CFM ? Best Regards Olof ,

The 340 horse 409 was just under 600,but the more common 250 horse 327 was more like 450- 480 cfm.If you are stuck with ethonal laced gas over there,get an adapter[small carb] and put a modern carb on it.The 4gc's and ethonal don't play well together.

A good Carter AFB works on the 409 too, Don Jacks will recommend new stuff that fits. what intake do you have?

Hi , ok thanks for answer , well , I have some idea to use an Edelbrock 1407 on my 340 hp motor ,
11-1 comp , a little hotter cam , aluminium intake , original 348-409 , na , we in Sweden "plays" with
naked girls , sitting on Ice-bears ! Don , my last name is also Johannesson ! Best Olof ,
