July 31st -August 2nd. Valerie will be coming back to defend THE LONNIE ( Our traveling trophy for the Rock N Race that Dave Mills donated and had fixed up for us).We have a date and me and Don Moyer are working on the dust control already, I'll bring a truck load of hay if i have to. Would be awesome to get the Z11s back again hint hint. I'll be in contact with two more Z11s that are in my area probably won't be finished by then but maybe I can get them to come we'll see. You can't pass up getting to meet and talk to the legendary Hayden Profitt, Wally Bell, Dave Colbert and so many other awesome racers I look up to and have the utmost respect for, sadly I don't think any of the those three are going to make it now. We can't forget the " Z11 DESTROYER PHIL REED" we love ya buddy lol.

Ole Ray has decided to hang up his racing jock. I was thinking about it for awhile and the race in Indiana sealed the deal. Looking to put the car back on the street and terrorize the locals. I have been having problems with my knee that I pretty much destroyed in a motorcycle accident years ago. That combined with trying to keep up with my home and property by myself has been chipping away at me lately. I could pop in on occasion when the race is close but for now I just need a break. I've heard this happens to all of us, some sooner than others, but it's set in concrete for all of us. No one is sadder than me but I have had the privilege of meeting and racing with the best group of people I have ever met in my life. I'm not going anywhere, I'll still be here to aggravate all my knuckle head friends. And a special shoutout to Barry Taylor......... "Quack"!

Dang Ray, i like everyone else here are bummed about this but believe me i get it. Every day while doing this latest car i think about exactly what your saying and going through and I’m not a very good spectator. Tough decision i know. I know you’ll make a race eventually and we’ll see you then. Stay safe Ray!!!! BT

Yeah, I'm kinda bummed not having my buddy Ray there also. Him and Coots sure keep you laughing, and their match race together is always great fun..... Just won't be the same without him.
