The Wallace calculator seems pretty good. 6500 rpm, 4.57 gear, 29.5 tire puts me at 125 mph. That is a little low but, when tire growth is factored in like 30" instead of 29.5", it's pretty much right on the money for my car.

What are you looking for Dave? With the specs you give, what rpm you cross the line at will depend on the HP you make among other less contributing factors.

Yes, I messed with that stuff too Dan. I'm thinking about going to 4:88 but I'm not big on high rpm's. I can't say I know what rpm I'm crossing the stripe at now. Calculator says with my 116 mph 4.30. 28" tires...6,000rpm and 28.5 tires 5,880 I could probably back figure my HP using those numbers and then plug that data in.

How much more is in it.
I don't remember how big of carburetors Dave is running.
Could be as simple as some secondary air valve tuning or one of Carl's intakes and some good metering on top of it.
