Wow, it's November and Veteran's Day is here. Please say a prayer and/or salute the flag that our troops around the world proudly serve under.

Let us never forget that: " all gave some and that ...some gave all for our freedom."

God Bless America!

Veterans Day

Received an email that said it all.

" If you can read this, thank a teacher.

If you are reading this in ENGLISH, thank a SOLDIER "

My thoughts exactly.

Thanks, VETS. ESP. Viet Nam Vets.

I for one am proud to be a viet nam vet, wasn't actually in 'the nam but was right next door,in the U.S. Air Force at U-TAPAO Thailand on the gulf of Thailand and was a jet engine mechanic most of the time I spent there and a part time auxillary Air Policeman that helped "repel" the communist insurgents coming up the klongs from the gulf of Thailand sometimes, not a fun thing but was proud to do my part in 1973 and 1974,I was part of the 8th Air Force.I knew some of the aircrews who flew the B-52s over Viet Nam and saw some of "my buffs" that I worked on come back all shot to "doll rags",missing some of their crew members,so sad!God Bless the Vets everywhere!

Veterans day

Wasn't really a vet, I guess. 1963-1969 Ohio Air National Guard. Flight simulator operator. We flew almost new F-84F fighters! The pilots hated them. Sister group in Columbus got F100s. We wanted them bad. F100 had afterburner. Was a real fighter-Bomber. Then Columbus got called up and went to Nam with their F100s. WE changed our minds. We polished and nutured those 84s like they were babies. Loved them. We never lost them while I was there. After I got out, they got F8 Crusaders, but never did go to Nam.
I sure respect all who went, and I'm darn glad I didn't have to. Would have if called, though. Never did think of Canada!
