Save my 409

After disassembling my 409/425 and doing a initial inspection at the machine shop. I'm hoping to save my 409!
A scored crank, a spun #1 main bearing I'm waiting to hear from the machine shop to hear if the block can be saved. I'm hoping to find a rotating assembly if the news is positive.
Any sources for parts suggested?

La Hot Rods, Are telling me that Big Block Main Bearings and turning down a new crank is a viable option?

Ok this is the route my machine shop will go. He will not go with modifying the BBC crank. He will install a Scat or Eagle rotating assembly and is going to Bore the cylinders .030 over and fine cut the deck the minimum. The Block has had a cylinder sleeved and Oil feed restriction modifications to reduce oil supply to the top end which will be returned to stock. Evidently this old girl was used for Racing!

Sounds like you're going to be OK, and 30 over sounds good.

Nice looking "64" you have there. Honduras Maroon Metallic is one of my favorite colors. Don't see many around. Have more pics and some history of your car Jeff?

La Hot Rods,
Yes, we are going to save the the Block. The machine shop is going to take a minimum cut off the main caps were they meet the bock which changes the bore center and then when boring the mains it will cut the damaged area from the Block. A Timing Chain that is made for this procedure is all that is needed from what I have been told.

Starting the cleaning and painting of parts while waiting on the Machine Shop.
Used Eastwoods fast etch rust remover and High Temp paint on the Exhaust manifolds.
Hoping it holds up but not expecting much more than the break in running.
Anyone been down this road?
