Leaning more towards the ignition than too lean in this instance.....those dual 750's should have been plenty rich for that engine. I still think you've got the foundation for some good mid-12's once it's sorted out. I don't mean after you add a bunch of stuff.....just fine tuning what you have right now. Sorry you didn't get it all done at the shootout, but we all enjoyed what ya'll did accomplish. More than most of us get done in 4 times the time.

Yeah, you've got to expect to run into a few problems on the first time out. :dunno
Whatever the problem is, I'm sure you and James will get it sorted out.
It's pretty much got to be either ignition, carburation or fuel supply.

Pretty sure we can solve the ignition problem real quick with that plug-n-play I got from Mike Bell. Then we take the carbs apart and see what's up inside those. Will check out that leaded-up "posi" once I get a chance to catch my breath!
