Single plane intake

I have a aluminum single four barrel setup 409 intake manifold with the number 3822929. Anyone out there know who? What? And where? This is?. Input is appreciated. Thank you so much

That's a Service Package intake that would have been sold over-the-counter thru the parts department. It would've never been installed on an assembly-line car and was intended for roundy-round racers or single carb drag classes.

BT's right,we need more pictures.Chances are that it was "pretty good" back then with the enginering that was available at the time,but I don't think that I'd want it on an engine today using todays head porting practices,cam profile,piston designs,ect.

Its the same as the aluminum single four barrel used on 380 and 400 hp models except it dosn't have the divider in the plenum.

It is meant for WOT.... perfect for the street today. They sometimes refer to as the "Nascar" intake, as previously stated service intake.
