Yes, shorter and above the N/L will hit the tire harder initially which will likely be what the car will want. The question becomes how hard the initial hit can be before wadding the tire up and how much you can control with the shocks. In very general terms, low powered cars like to smack the tire hard. By low powered, I mean less than 800-900 hp.

Today I finished up the rear suspension. I found that with my modified suspension I had to get longer adjuster bolts for my upper control arms. I set up the angles so I will be a little above the neutral line and we will see how it likes it. I switched the tires back to my street tires and also clearanced the wheel wells a little so the slicks should clear now and not rub the body when turning and getting body roll.

Thanks Dave. I just can’t get it out of my mind that even though my homemade one does work it isn’t giving the motor a nice even fuel distribution being it is a modified dual plane.
