It is great to see people keeping the 409's alive!! I live in Southern California, and I have a 1963 Impala with a factory 425 built by Curt Harvey in 1993. 814 block040 over, 11.25/1 Ross pistons, 690 heads. Doug's headers, Isky Solid Z-55 cam, Algon Mechanical Fuel Injection built by Kinsler, with belt driven pump, and electric shutoff. Ronco Vertex Magneto built by Don Zig, with 36 degrees total advance. S&P billet serpentine setup with air condition, and 100 amp alternator. Griffin Aluminum radiator. M-22 4 speed to a Ford 9". 4 wheel disc brakes with electric booster. Runs on the street with 100 octance.
