Spacing spot welds

For those of you who have replaced the floor pans in an early 60s X frame car, how far apart are those spot welds placed? Looks like about two inches from the ones I've removed. Does that sound correct?

These are slightly closer together than the ones I removed.

Those look like about an inch, maybe a little more?

I'm guessing the more the merrier, I measured the ones I removed and they varied a lot, from about two inches to maybe as much as three inches in some instances.

I would think two inches or less might do the trick. Same for the braces, which are much thicker and offer more support than the pans themselves. My stuff was purchased maybe 4-5 years ago, had "Made in USA" stickers on 'em.
