started 409 stroker mock-up

Hi guys! I decided to get some garage art out this past weekend since I didn't get my 348 parts from Showcars yet, Installed the crank , cam ,timing kit, 1 new rod with old piston. On the LH side the rod bolt cleared 3 out of 4 bores but without enough clearence and there was contact on all 4 bores on the RH side so I measured and marked 0.060 clearence and got the die grinder out and prayed not to cut thru the block. I'll send some pics soon.

Cutting the bottom of the bores isn't that scary. Just don't take out more than you need. I knocked some holes about 3/4 deep when my rods let go and didn't loose any water. How long is the stroke?
