All this talk about reparations-let's see. In the mid 60's, we had the war on poverty, the great society, the huge expansion of welfare, all kinds of taxpayer financed programs, then came not just equal opportunity employment( equal for who?) but affirmative action which only meant that the head of the line got added to by them rather than the rest of the line, then priority in housing, employment for the left and their subjugated minions before anybody else, and the taking has never ceased. The rest of America has a work ethic, which always wins even though it takes a bit longer, but the tried true and proven ways always result in a free population that isn't beholden to nor owned by the left. Now, this stuff for 55 years has a long track record of failure. It has cost America billions in extra taxes, special programs and preferential treatment for the few, at the expense of all Americans,not just a few. It has left a large segment of the population unable to shift for themselves and taste real freedom because they are owned by the left without them realizing how much. Now the question: We've been paying billions. sharpton says," Make them pay". We've been paying.It hasn't worked. When is enough enough?

As I said in another thread, no amount of government programs or money will solve this problem. Each person, will someday look back on their lives. They will know inside what they have or have not done. They will know that most of the problems they have faced in this life were created by themselves. Many will realize they have wasted their lives when they could have been enjoying it and prospering. They probably will never admit it, but they will know that they are responsible for what they have or have not done while here. And they will know that is the reason they lived the life they had, not because others kept them from the things they wanted. Regrets are B*TCH they will pass knowing. As Limpbizkit said, Life is a lesson you learn when your through.

:yup True. They may learn and regret; but they have for years, influenced and encouraged a couple of generations to continue their bullshit theories and actions, thereby influencing even greater numbers, with greater demands, less responsibilities and more radical ideas. Happy Fathers Day!

Agree whole heartedly, however they, and the people they influence ultimately pay a huge price for their ignorance. Hopefully some will be still around for awhile, and realize what they have lost and try to pass that knowledge on to some younger people.

The worst injustices done to black people in this nation's history was done by democrats. Most slave owners in the south were democrats, the civil war fought over slavery was caused by democrats, the emancipation proclamation was signed by a Republican, the greatest president in US history,( who was assassinated by a democrat,) the jim crow laws were instituted by democrats, the kkk was run by and full of democrats, school segregation was instituted by and enforced by democrats, interference with voters' rights,poll taxes, terrorist acts against the Civil Rights movement, (killings,bombings,etc. Weren't they nice people!!)was carried out by democrats, then the '64 election got the worst sort of democrat in office imaginble. All of a sudden the left pretended to have sympathy, care, and compassion for them, pretending to be the party that would represent them. All the liberal programs and propaganda out there that started then, plus the extraction of taxes from the rest of mainstream America,were done in the name of liberal compassion by democrats. How has it worked, what has it cost, and why is this still a problem? All this did was try to prevent a whole race of people from learning how to be self sufficient, financially independent, and free of the need of social assistance programs. I hope and pray that the vast majority of all our black people would wake up, realize how they were lied to, find the truth of the matter, and realize how the democrats in control have been the ones to hold the whole race down for their political gain.That would touch off a black march on Washington that would be the biggest in history. I bet it wouldn't be pretty!
