Picked up a truck this week and has had a eng. transplant ,I have tried to look at the rear casting # but cant get a read on it ,to close to fire wall etc thought it was a 350 andwant to make sure. I did get the suffix code and of course I cant find the code for it in any of my manuals. Any help would be appreciated KO4230RB SBC. it is mated to the old 4 speed in my 63 C10

You sure thats not CRB? That would be a 77 305 and it was built in Canada(K).
Don't have anything on ORB.

I think so maybe a DRB

OK, DRB is a Canadian built 79 350, 170hp. 4 brl, AT from a passenger car.....
