I'm considering having one of my cars restored but am wondering where I should have it done. I live in Westchester County NY, an hour north of the city but I think it will be much more expensive to have it done in the north and I'll have to pay tax in NY so I'm considering having it done out of the state, maybe somewhere in the south or midwest.
One shop in Texas told me that they would even buy the parts and sell them to me at their cost and that they would even give me the receipts. Do they all do that? I'm looking for any referrals. Anybody? The car in question is a 64 or 63 Impala. Thanks guys!
